This is a print of my painting "the gate upon the castle". On the side of Nottingham castle there are these small gates - locked of course. The side has been completely overgrown with various leaves; the stone floors full of weeds and fallen leaves. In these moments curiosity gets the better of me and I want to find a way in.
Hang this upon your wall, or keep it however you'd like, but enjoy this print as much as I really wanted in the gate!
